The evolution of the Social Communications Commission is rather interesting.  It first started off as the PAX Information & Publicity in 1971.  One of its main activities was the publication of Catholic Sabah. Down the years however, it lost its moorings until 2001 when it was restarted as a new commission under Sr Bibianah Densia fsp. It is a member of the Regional Commission for Social Communications Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei.  It maintains the archdiocesan website: www.kkdiocese.net since 2014 and organises the yearly celebration of World Communications Day on the 7th Sunday of Easter as well as  Catholic Sabah Day every two years.
