Shan Tao Kindergarten celebrates Chap Goh Mei

KOTA KINABALU – Chap Goh Mei has been a yearly traditional celebration to conclude the Lunar New Year for the children and parents with their teachers of Shan Tao Kindergarten.

It is a time that is usually looked forward to with great excitement and anticipation by both the children and teachers.  Challenged to display their knowledge and skills, the children worked hard to put together their performances, songs and artwork, ably guided by their teachers.

It is also a time for parents to beam on with pride to see their children   rising to the occasion.  As reminded and encouraged by the Chairman of the Board, Charlie Chia, children can be nurtured to become useful citizens to society with the combined efforts of the schools and parents.

Parents play an unquestionably important role in providing a stable and loving home, a firm faith and generous and positive support to the education institutions.

The occasion was graced by Archbishop John Wong, Board and PPC Members, heads of neighbouring schools, friends and benefactors.
