Sabandil organises LSS after 20 years

PAPAR –  St Therese Sabandil here organised a Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS) after a hiatus of 20 years for over a hundred participants, aged 13-65, on 25-26 Feb 2017.

A CSE Brother and four Putri Karmel Sisters from the Hermitage, Karmel Kaingaran, Tambunan were invited to conduct the LSS with five sessions: God’s Love, Salvation, New Life, Receiving God’s Gift, Growth, and a concluding  open sharing session.

The seminar had given an opportunity to the faith community in this village, not only to gather together as a family, but also to renew life in the spirit.

Time was given for silent reflection on one’s past life, struggles, doubts and fears.

Then all were led to the experience of being forgiven and being set free from past bondages.

The participants said they would never forget this meaningful experience because not only were their hearts touched but they experienced being renewed from within, and now equipped to live a new life with the guidance of the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

The participants were filled with joy and thanked the facilitators for being instrumental in bringing them to experience God’s love in such a tangible manner. – Rosalind Joannes
