First IOLA Renewal of Commitment in KK
KOTA KINABALU – In an unprecedented move, two members of the Institute of Our Lady of the Annunication (IOLA or IMSA in Italian) renewed their commitment at the Daughters of St Paul Convent Chapel here on 30 Dec 2024.
Durah Marcus of St Catherine Inanam and Shirlynah Miting of St Peter Claver Ranau renewed their vows of chastity, poverty and obedience before Fr Celso Godilano, Society of St Paul Provincial Delegate to the Aggregated Institutes of the Pauline Family Philippines-Macau, witnessed by Dalisay Aniag Santos, IMSA Coodinator and Agatha Yap, pioneer IMSA of Sabah. The calling and presentation of the candidates were done by Gloria Mastrili Sanchez, their formator.
The event was graced by the presence of the Pauline Cooperators and family members of the IMSA.
The Association of the Pauline Cooperators, the IMSA and the Daughters of St. Paul are part of the Pauline Family founded by Blessed James Alberione in answer to the needs of the Church in various ministries.
Many people have not heard of the IMSA before. They are a Secular Institute of Consecrated Life for women.
