FSP Provincial Pays a Courtesy Call on the Local Ordinary

KOTA KINABALU – Daughters of St Paul Provincial Superior Sister Purificacion Barrientos paid a courtesy call on Abp John Wong at his office at the Catholic Archdiocesan Centre here on 22 Aug 2024 together with the local community.  She updated him on the movement of the various members of the community.  Sr Purificacion (Pinky) came to install Sr Roseling Siaw (also Aug 22) as the new local superior, replacing Sr Magdalene Chong who has finished her term of service.  She returned to the Philippines Aug 24.

Installation of New FSP Local Superior

KOTA KINABALU – Sister Roseling Siaw was installed as the new local superior of the Daughters of St Paul community here on 22 Aug 2024 during the Holy Hour led by Provincial Superior Sr Purificacion Barrientos (Sr Pinky) who flew in from Manila in the early morning.  She took over from Sr Magdalene who has finished six years of service.  She will join the community in Petaling Jaya after a short break.

While in Kota Kinabalu, the provincial also took time on Aug 24 to meet and get to know the members of the Association of the Pauline Cooperators (APCs). All the APCs took turns to introduce themselves to Sr. Pinky and vice versa. The meeting ended with a high tea fellowship.
