The Malaysian Bishops’ Conference logo is built around a national emblem , the hibiscus flower, as we fully become a Malaysian Church.
The nine stigmas represent the nine dioceses of Malaysia, connected and morphing into the shepherd’s staff, showing a path or journey leading to Christ — who is the centre and source of all life and ministries.
This has special significance as we now journey together — people, priests, religious, bishops — from the nine dioceses towards the Pan-Malaysian Pastoral Convention in 2026.
