Women commission organises study days on JPII’s Letter to Families
PENAMPANG – The Archdiocesan Women Commission headed by Anita Tunggolou is organising a series of study days on John Paul II’s Letter to Families (1994).
Fourteen women turned up for the first study day on 15 May 2017 at the Catholic Archdiocesan Centre Penampang. It was facilitated by Father Rayner Bisius, director of Initiation Year Formation House.
The follow-up study days will be on June 16, July 14 and Aug 11 at the same venue.
The document is part of an ongoing programme of study for the commission with the encouragement of its spiritual adviser, Archbishop John Wong.
The first document the women went through was Muliaris Dignitatem – the dignity and vocation of women – also by John Paul II.
