AHDC organises Soap For Hope project demonstration

PENAMPANG – The Archdiocesan Human Development Commission (AHDC) organised a Soap For Hope project demonstration at the Catholic Archdiocesan Centre here on 7 Apr 2017

Stefan Phang of Sealed Air Singapore demonstrated to some 30 participants the process of soap making.

The participants were members of AHDC, CAC staff, Franciscan Sisters, KPI Kota Belud, Kota Kinabalu, and Inobong, PACOS, Clare’s Missionaries Singapore and KK.

The objective was to train four committed participants so that they, in turn, can train poor rural folks to use it as a means of livelihood.

The materials used can be sourced from hotels and natural products such as lemons, limes, lemon grass, pandan leaves, etc.
