FSPs organises MLE seminar in Membakut
MEMBAKUT – Two Daughters of St Paul organised a media literacy education (MLE) at St Patrick Membakut on 4 March 2017.
Membakut is a subdistrict located in Beaufort in the Interior Division, about 75.8 km south of Kota Kinabalu.
Sisters Christine Sundin and Laura Anggie were joined by Judy Jipanin, president of the Pauline Cooperators in the half-day event.
Father Ronnie Luni, parish pastor, was on hand to welcome the missioners when they arrived at the parish.
Around 30 participants turned up – young and old – including members of the parish pastoral council and the parish social communications committee.
There were two sessions: Session 1 focused on the use of smartphone, WhatsApp and Facebook in particular, while Session 2 was on sharing and discussion on the topic.
The next day Mar 5, the missioners held a book mission and returned to Kota Kinabalu after lunch.
