140 attend seminar on social teaching of the church

KOTA KINABALU – One hundred and forty people attended the seminar on the social teaching of the church on 10-11 March 2017 at the Sacred Heart Parish Centre here.

The seminar was organised by the Sacred Heart Human Development Committee.

Father Stanley Antoni of Penang facilitated the seminar in BM and English.  There were four sessions (1) Introduction to Church Social Teaching (2) Human Dignity (3) Concern for the Poor, Vulnerable and Marginalised and (4) Prophetic Ministry.

As the saying goes, the social teaching of the church is the “best kept secret” of the church and the seminar has been an eye-opener for many of the participants.
