RAY organises children’s camp as part of parish feast day celebrations
KOTA KINABALU – The Royal Ambassadors of the Light of Jesus Christ Covenant Community organised a three-day Holy Spirit Day Camp themed “Heart of Jesus” as part of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish Feast Day celebrations.
The camp was held 8-10 Jun at the Sacred Heart Parish Centre with 107 children of age 8-12 in attendance.
Day one of the camp was filled with fun learning through praise, games, objective lessons, group workshop and outdoor race.
Day two, the children continued their fun-filled deepening journey with prayer stations and healing sessions.
The final day saw the children being prayed over for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, led by Elder Peter Thien.
Many children shed tears as they experienced the love of God through the in-filling of the Holy Spirit.
The camp concluded with a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Archbishop John Wong. It was a time to celebrate the joy of the Lord and to give Him ‘thanksgiving’. The children would meet again for the camp follow-up during the Royal Ambassadors program at the SHC parish center Jun 28. – LJCCC/RA
